These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the EngageU Education website, mobile application, software platform, services, features and related products (collectively, the “Platform”).
EngageU Education is a student engagement and digital campus platform for universities and educational institutions, designed to support student communication, student communities, clubs and societies, campus events and event management, student participation and related digital services.
By accessing, registering for, downloading, or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not access or use the Platform.
Where EngageU Education provides services to a university, college, educational institution or other organisation, additional terms may be agreed with that institution separately. In such cases, the applicable institutional agreement will govern the relevant relationship between EngageU Education and the institution.
1. About EngageU Education
EngageU Education is a student engagement software and digital campus platform designed to help universities, colleges and other educational institutions improve student communication, student communities, clubs and societies, campus events, event management, participation and overall student experience.
The Platform provides institutions with a connected digital environment for managing and improving different aspects of the student experience.
Depending on the institution and services enabled, the Platform may include features such as:
- Student and institutional communication
- Student communities and campus communities
- Clubs and societies management
- Campus events and event management
- Event registration, participation and attendance
- Campus announcements and notifications
- Academic and campus information
- Schedules and timetables
- Career, job and internship opportunities
- Alumni engagement
- Rewards, offers and coupons
- Surveys, forms and feedback
- Student engagement activities
- Institutional dashboards and analytics
- Integrations with other systems and services
The features available to users may vary depending on the institution, account type and services enabled.
2. Acceptance of These Terms
By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
If you are accessing or using the Platform on behalf of an educational institution or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.
Institutions may also establish additional policies or guidelines for their users.
3. Eligibility
The Platform is primarily intended for students, faculty, staff, alumni, educational institutions and other users connected with educational communities.
You should provide accurate information and use the Platform only where you are authorised or permitted to do so.
Where access is provided through an institution, that institution may establish additional eligibility or access requirements.
4. Accounts and Access
Certain features may require an account or access through credentials provided or authorised by your institution.
You are responsible for providing accurate information and taking reasonable steps to keep your account and login credentials secure.
Please notify us or your institution if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.
Access to certain features may be managed by the relevant institution in accordance with its policies and arrangements with EngageU Education.
5. Institutional Use
Institutions using EngageU Education may configure the Platform according to their requirements and may provide information relating to their students, faculty, staff, alumni, courses, events, clubs, societies and other institutional activities.
EngageU Education may support institutions in delivering digital campus services, student communication, student community management, clubs and societies, campus event management and student engagement initiatives through the Platform.
Institutions are responsible for information they provide to EngageU Education and for ensuring that they have the appropriate authority to provide such information for use through the Platform.
Institution-specific matters, including services, access, data handling, integrations, support, implementation and other requirements, may be agreed separately between EngageU Education and the relevant institution.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Platform responsibly and only for lawful purposes.
You must not:
- Use the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent or harmful activities;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform or another user's account;
- Interfere with the operation or security of the Platform;
- Upload malicious software, viruses or harmful code;
- Scrape, copy or systematically extract Platform data without permission;
- Reverse engineer the Platform except where permitted by applicable law;
- Impersonate another person or organisation;
- Upload content that infringes another person's rights; or
- Use the Platform to harass, threaten or abuse others.
7. User Content
Users may be able to submit or upload information, text, images, documents, feedback, profiles, applications or other materials (“User Content”).
You remain responsible for the content you submit.
By submitting User Content, you confirm that you have the necessary rights or permissions to submit it and that it does not unlawfully infringe another person's rights or violate applicable law.
You grant EngageU Education the limited rights necessary to host, process, display and otherwise use your User Content for providing the relevant Platform services.
8. Institutional Data
Institutions may provide information relating to students, faculty, staff, alumni, courses, events, clubs, societies, activities and other institutional operations.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of institutional data to EngageU Education.
The handling of institutional data, including applicable access, use, retention, security and deletion arrangements, may be agreed separately with the relevant institution and will be subject to applicable law and the EngageU Education Privacy Policy.
9. Privacy
Our collection, use, storage and processing of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy should be read together with these Terms and provides further information regarding the handling of personal information and the choices available to users.
Where an institution has specific arrangements with EngageU Education regarding personal or institutional data, those arrangements may also apply.
10. Cookies and Similar Technologies
EngageU Education may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Platform, remember preferences, understand usage and improve our services.

11. Jobs, Internships and Career Opportunities
The Platform may provide access to job, internship, placement or other career-related opportunities.
Such opportunities may be provided by employers, institutions, recruitment partners or other third parties.
EngageU Education provides a platform through which users may discover and access such opportunities. Specific eligibility, selection and employment decisions remain with the relevant organisation or employer.
12. Events, Clubs, Societies and Communities
The Platform may allow users to discover, create, register for or participate in campus events, clubs, societies, student communities and other student activities.
Institutions and authorised organisers may use the Platform for activities such as event management, event registration, attendance, communication, participation tracking and community engagement.
These features are intended to support student engagement, student communities and participation in university and college activities.
Participation may be subject to additional requirements established by the relevant institution or organiser.
13. Rewards, Offers and Coupons
The Platform may provide access to rewards, discounts, coupons, promotional offers or other benefits provided by EngageU Education, educational institutions, brands or third-party partners.
Individual offers may have their own eligibility requirements, validity periods and additional terms.
Where applicable, the availability and use of such offers may also be subject to arrangements agreed with the relevant institution or partner.
14. Advertising and Brand Partnerships
EngageU Education may provide advertising, promotional content, brand partnerships or offers through the Platform.
Such activities may enable brands and organisations to communicate relevant products, services and opportunities to student and campus communities.
Where the Platform is provided to an institution, the nature and availability of such activities may also be subject to the arrangements agreed between EngageU Education and that institution.
The appearance of an advertisement or offer does not by itself constitute an endorsement or guarantee of the relevant product or service.
15. Third-Party Services and Integrations
The Platform may integrate with or provide access to third-party websites, applications, payment services, software, APIs or other services.
Certain integrations may be enabled or configured in consultation with the relevant institution.
Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.
16. Payments and Fees
Certain services or features may be provided on a paid basis.
Where an institution engages EngageU Education for paid services, applicable fees, payment terms, renewals, support and other commercial matters may be agreed separately with that institution.
Where users directly purchase a product or service through the Platform, the applicable price and terms will be presented before the transaction.
17. Intellectual Property
The EngageU Education name, logo, branding, software, platform architecture, interfaces, designs, documentation, graphics, content and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to EngageU Education and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially exploit EngageU Education's proprietary materials without appropriate permission.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of EngageU Education's intellectual property to you.
Institutional names, logos, materials and other content provided by an institution remain subject to the applicable arrangements with that institution.
18. Feedback
If you provide suggestions, ideas, recommendations or feedback regarding the Platform, EngageU Education may use such feedback to improve or develop its products and services.
19. Platform Availability
We work to keep the Platform available, secure and reliable. From time to time, certain features may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, technical issues, third-party services or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where applicable, service availability, support and related commitments may be agreed separately with an institution.
20. Changes to the Platform
EngageU Education may introduce, modify, improve or discontinue features of the Platform from time to time.
Where appropriate, material changes may be communicated through the Platform or other reasonable means.
Institution-specific features or services may be subject to the applicable agreement with the institution.
21. Suspension and Termination
Access to the Platform may be suspended or restricted where reasonably necessary, including in cases involving misuse, security concerns, legal requirements or violation of these Terms.
Where an institution has a separate agreement with EngageU Education, suspension, termination and related procedures may be governed by that agreement.
22. Information and Third-Party Content
The Platform may contain information, listings, advertisements, opportunities, content or materials provided by users, institutions, employers, brands or other third parties.
We aim to provide a useful and reliable experience, but information supplied by third parties may change or contain inaccuracies.
Where appropriate, users should verify important information with the relevant institution, employer, service provider or other source.
23. Disclaimers
EngageU Education works to maintain the quality and reliability of the Platform. However, the Platform may occasionally experience interruptions, technical issues or changes in functionality.
Information or services provided by third parties may also be subject to their own terms and availability.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
24. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EngageU Education will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from or relating to the use of the Platform.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Where an institution has entered into a separate agreement with EngageU Education, any applicable commercial liability arrangements may be addressed in that agreement.
25. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify EngageU Education against claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses arising from your material violation of these Terms, unlawful use of the Platform, User Content that infringes another person's rights, or violation of applicable law.
Institution-specific indemnification arrangements, where applicable, may be addressed separately with the institution.
26. Confidentiality
Where EngageU Education and an institution or other customer exchange confidential information, applicable confidentiality obligations may be set out in their separate written agreement.
27. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
Subject to applicable law, disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts having jurisdiction over Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.
Where a separate written agreement with an institution contains different dispute-resolution or jurisdiction provisions, those provisions will apply to the relevant contractual relationship.
28. Grievances and Complaints
If you have a question, concern or complaint regarding the Platform, your account, content, privacy or any other matter, you may contact EngageU Education using the official contact details provided on our website.
We will review and address complaints in accordance with applicable law and our applicable policies.
29. Changes to These Terms
EngageU Education may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Platform, our services, applicable requirements or our business practices.
The updated version will be published on the Platform with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Your continued use of the Platform after an updated version becomes effective will constitute acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
30. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
31. Waiver
A failure or delay by EngageU Education in enforcing any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or our right to enforce it later.
32. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the applicable Privacy Policy and any separate written agreements applicable to your use of the Platform, constitute the applicable understanding governing your use of the Platform.
Where a separate written agreement applies to an institution or specific service, that agreement will govern the relevant commercial or contractual relationship to the extent of any inconsistency.
